Shredall was founded by Nottingham businessmen Lloyd Williams, and now with sister company SDS, provides nationwide document security and management services. A family business at its core, Shredall and SDS strive to provide the highest quality service to all of their customers, even though the business is no longer limited to the Nottingham area. Lloyd founded Shredall in 1997 in order to give businesses a way to avoid data security breaches that were common at the time. When the company was formed, it was only the second mobile shredding company in Europe. Since then, the company has grown to reach more businesses, aided by a facility in Scotland, and sister company SDS enables Lloyd and the team to provide a wide range of document security services. In 2010, Lloyd’s children, Lucy and Nik, took senior positions in the company, having worked their way up over 10 years. Lucy is now director of SDS, while Nik is the group sales director. Along with their father, they maintain the local, family-driven core that has been there since the beginning.
