EM Chem was formed in response to a demand from the Chemistry using businesses in the East Midlands for a local network group. It has been set up with the support of the Chemical Industries Association (CIA), Society for the Chemical Industries (SCI), and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), in association with the School of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham.
