Nottingham University Business School is looking for businesses to take part in their annual MSc company-based research projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for companies and organisations to receive help to resolve a practical business issue or specific business challenge by working with postgraduate students and faculties through the Company Based Dissertation Scheme.
The Scheme is a bespoke 4-12 week research project that focuses on an existing business problem in your organisation. You specify the research area and agree on a brief in advance with an academic supervisor. You will also be able to interview recommended students from a wide variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. When the project is complete, you receive the findings and recommendations in a consultancy-style report for your company to consider. The research can greatly benefit your business and, as it contributes to our students’ practical knowledge, they benefit too.
- Provides a new perspective on your business challenges.
- Offers reassurance that an academic supervisor, who is an expert in the relevant field, supports the student.
- Gives your business a chance to meet and network with high calibre graduates from a range of backgrounds.
- Presents the opportunity to connect with the University and benefit from our many support networks.
