Trans-Sport awarded N2 Business Growth Fund grant

One of the UK’s leading Event Contractors, Trans-Sport Limited, have been successful in obtaining a grant from the N2 Business Growth Fund.  The business based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, has secured £20,000 to contribute towards the installation of a Mechanical Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning System in their new office building.  As part of the company’s continued growth in recent years, they have recently had to expand their headquarters to accommodate new staff, as well as storing substantial levels of rigging and equipment.  Trans-Sport’s success has enabled the business to compete for prestigious contracts with recognised brands such as Sky Sports, and IMG Sport Production, therefore working on some of the UK’s most popular sporting occasions, amongst other high profile events.

The N2 Business Growth Fund grant shall also support Trans Sport in growing their Retford based team by up to 15% in the next 12 months.  The business prides itself on being able to provide a high quality, rapid response service to clients, with 100% of their staff being based in Nottinghamshire.

‘This grant has enabled us to fast track our investment into our new offices, allowing us to push on with our overall growth strategy in the immediate term.  The application process was also straight forward and efficient, which was extremely pleasing!’ Helen Cope, Director, Trans-Sport Limited.

The N2 Business Growth Fund remains open for applications, and will support capital investment projects for Nottinghamshire based businesses with a minimum project value of £100,000. Since launching in 2015, the programme has approved grants totalling £1.2m, supporting the creation of over 150 jobs.
