Ingenuity KnowledgeXchange Workshop
Marketing can sometimes seem hit and miss. It’s all too easy, even for marketing professionals, to make decisions based on what “feels” right. Making the right decisions about your marketing needs more than gut instinct – it needs data, theory and the ability to trust your own judgment. With all three of these working together, you can get ahead of the competition.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to use data to make your marketing better and how to predict your customers and their needs. Most importantly though, you’ll learn what separates good and bad marketing, and how to make the smart choices when it comes to communication.
The University of Nottingham’s Edwin Moriarty delivers this one-day workshop on the back of his hugely popular Ingenuity breakfast presentation earlier this year. Praised by attendees as one of their favourite ever Ingenuity breakfast talks, we feel sure this new one-day workshop is an event not to missed!
Please note – this workshop is a stand-alone event and it is not necessary to have attended Edwin’s previous Ingenuity breakfast event to participate in this workshop.

Edwin Moriarty has been a professional copywriter for more than ten years, and has a background in statistical analysis, information and computer science, and linguistics. He now works in The University of Nottingham’s External Relations team, coordinating copy for web across the whole of the University.
