The University of Nottingham launched its internship programme in 2014 and since then student numbers have grown from 22 to more than 80 during the summer of 2016. This year the University is seeking applications from SMEs (including small charities) to host two or three student interns in their business for a two week period during the Easter vacation.
The activity will be fully funded by the University. Businesses only need provide their time and effort to support their interns who we believe would add real value to any business. We are looking for organisations who have a specific project or piece of work that students could support. Examples include: research opportunities for international trade, review marketing strategy, develop social media marketing campaigns, event planning, survey design for evaluation of service users or perhaps you have a project of your own that would meet our criteria.
If you believe your business can offer our students a learning experience and boost their future employment prospects email Diane Blything, Work Experience Officer at the University of Nottingham or t: 0115 74 84525.
